LUSAKA Province Minister Bowman Lusambo says he is considering contesting the Choma Central Parliamentary seat in the 2021 General elections to show people that Southern Province belongs to all Zambians.
Speaking when he paid a courtesy call on Chief Cooma Saturday afternoon at his palace, Lusambo noted that the perception that Southern Province belongs to the UPND is wrong.
He further expressed confidence that the PF will win a lot of parliamentary and local government seats in the 2021 elections as people are happy with the leadership of President Lungu.
Lusambo further called for unity among all Zambians, adding that the Choma Declaration of 1973 demands oneness among all people in the nation.
The Minister was accompanied by Southern Province Permanent Secretary Mwangala Liomba, PF Member of the Central Committee Kebby Mbewe, Choma District Commissioner Protancial Mulenga, among others.
Meanwhile, Chief Cooma expressed happiness at the visit from Lusaka Province Minister, thanking him for the fertilizer and a television set that was presented to him as a presented to him among other things.
The traditional leader further called for unity among all Zambians, adding the need for tolerance in the political arena, reminding people to remember the motto of βOne Zambia, One Nation.
