I was in Prison for One Year 10 Days for the Crime i have Never committed. It’s alleged that i shot somebody on the 6th of June, 2015. In my life, i have Never pointed a Gun at any Human Being or an Animal. I applied for my Bail pending my appeal hearing last year in 2025.
As the result of your Prayers from many of you, i was granted bail by the court of appeal and subsequently released from prison pending my appeal hearing.
From the time I was sent to prison in Mongu and later transferred to Mwembeshi correctional facility, i was very much at peace from day one until my day of my release to the extent that even though I was exercising a lot, i was gaining a lot of weight. I actually put on an extra 25kg of weight. When my conscience is clear, am very much at peace and I don’t worry about anything.
I want to take this rare opportunity to sincerely thank all my family and friends who visited me whilst in prison and many of you brought me financial and material support.
The Almighty God will surely reward and replenish your supplies. For your information, but you have the right to comment, positive or negative…………Peace!!!

Sorry if you were innocent of the offence you were charged with. You should have tendered all that line of defence in court mr mwila. Mushaukwa and other witnesses were there and you could have challenged them then before the judge.
My advise is . as Minister, elderly or respectable person, one must not act or allow those under their command, to act recklessly or with impunity. Responsibility lies with the Commanding person. Dont forget to act responsibly next time. Grow a sense of remorse if you really wish to be free. Putting up the arguement you have done wont take away the real pain another human being suffered, nor will it free you unless you are a sadist, anarchist or shameless person.
If its about leadership, no thanks. Zambia never missed you with your leadership. Your family and acquaintances probably missed you as theirs. They also missed you for the goodies you shared with them but the nation of Zambia, no, never missed you. The nation hopes that after you failed to show the desired level of leadership by allowing yourself to get involved in situations for which you were sent to jail, we never have you back. Please stay away from public office and authority. Zambia needs not you Davis Mwila but others. Goodbye.
Davis Mwila shut up! The side arm was found with you and your driver. We all know pistol culture came during your PF time and in particular when you were the defence minister. Now you have the audacity to spew rubbish. Who shot Mushaukwa? You are not yet free baba.
