I will only respond to Kalaba when he grows up – Nevers

MMD leader Nevers Mumba has wondered why Citizens First (CF) leader Harry Kalaba has called his statement on late president Edgar Lungu’s standoff between the government and the family as patronising when he has not done so to him for speaking for the former head of state.
Last week after President Hakainde Hichilema abruptly cancelled the extended national mourning accorded to president Lungu, following the family’s refusal to repatriate his remains from South Africa as earlier scheduled, Dr Mumba supported the President’s move.
But Kalaba cautioned Dr Mumba not to be quick with issuing patronising messages that could be injurious to the process.
He said as former vice-president, Dr Mumba carried a very high responsibility to present himself as a neutral and non partisan figure.
“It is regrettable that Dr Mumba was too quick to publicly support a wrong call by Mr Hakainde Hichilema without being sensitive to the grieving family and the nation at large,” said Kalaba.
When contacted on Kalaba’s remarks, Dr Mumba said he was lost for words on Kalaba’s allegations.

A day later , he is crawling around begging for the remains of ECL to be brought to Zambia.
Such a man is not worthy of Political Space in our National Discourse..or near the corridors of power.
Actually you have one thing in common, you all run away from the pulpit. You don’t qualify to describe Mr Kalaba like that. That’s hodgepodge statement. By the way Harry raised very important issues worth pointing out

Lungu is dead dead dead and we are wasting time because zealots want his remains to be treated as those.of a president died in office! I dont care if all the confusion is justification of the Lungu sipposedly mistreatment by the present government but he is on record to be the retribution to political opponent’s and we all that were priviledged to listen to his “Nkamukaka!” promise to the nation! It did not come to pass because for the many of you who like saying “God chooses leaders” then God chose otherwise seeing blonding hate in Lungu! Zambia is sure a Christian nation avcording to what suits individuals! Lungu is dead and the chaos built around his legacy is of no use to the country now for he is history now! Who talks dignity when a bunch of kids want to run the show! Thank you Dr. Nevers Mumba you dont reason with trivial people that’s why you made it to the vice presidency! Leave me watch Nollywood and have my peace!
