: IAEA REPORTS NEW ACTIVITY AT IRAN’S HEAVILY FORTIFIED PICKAXE MOUNTAIN SITE
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) says it has detected signs of new activity around Iran’s heavily fortified Pickaxe Mountain nuclear site.
However, the agency said it cannot determine what is taking place inside the underground complex because its inspectors do not have access to the facility and are relying on remote imagery.
“There are signs of activity around this site. We do not have concrete information about the nature of the activities taking place there,” the IAEA said.
