LUAPULA TO WELCOME ITS FIRST-EVER PUBLIC UNIVERSITY IN 2027
Luapula Province is set to make history with the construction of its first-ever public university, scheduled to begin in 2027.
Finance Minister Dr. Situmbeko Musokotwane announced during the presentation of the 2027 National Budget this afternoon that Government will commence the construction of six public universities in 2027.
Other provinces to benefit among the six are Eastern, Northern, North-Western, Western and Southern Provinces, a development expected to expand access to higher education and create greater learning opportunities for young people.
