Increase In Foreign Direct Investment Attributed To Political And Economic Stability

INCREASE IN FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT ATTRIBUTED TO POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC STABILITY

President Hakainde Hichilema says Zambia’s increased Foreign Direct Investment is due to the the political and economic stability the country is currently witnessing.

Zambia has seen a rise in its Foreign Direct Investment from $3.33 billion in 2021 to $5.24 billion in 2022. In his Facebook posting monitored by Falcon Media, President Hichilema has attributed the increased FDI in the country to the political and economic stability coupled with the rule of law. The Head of State says these factors have attracted more investment into the country.

The increase in the FDI has also led to the creation of job opportunities both in the public and private sectors.

Upon assuming office, President Hakainde Hichilema vowed not to rest until he had delivered on his promises of creating jobs, empowering youths and improving the lives of Zambians.

On the rule of law, President Hichilema and his administration have put in place measures to restore the rule of law, reunite the country and improve the economy.
