IRANIAN MEDIA: ARAGHCHI LEAVES TEHRAN FOR NEW YORK, WILL STOP IN QATAR
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has left Tehran for New York to participate in meetings of the United Nations General Assembly, according to Iranian media reports.
Iranian outlets also reported that Araghchi is expected to make a stop in Qatar during his journey to the United States.
His trip comes amid heightened diplomatic tensions surrounding Iran and the United States, with international efforts continuing on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly
