IRANIAN PRESIDENT PEZESHKIAN: “WAR WILL NEVER FORCE IRAN TO SURRENDER”

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has delivered a defiant message to Washington, declaring that military pressure will never force Iran to surrender or accept demands it considers unreasonable.

Speaking during a meeting with provincial governors and city mayors on November 2, Pezeshkian stressed that war benefits no one and warned that Iran would firmly defend its national interests against external pressure.

The Iranian president reiterated that Tehran remains open to diplomatic negotiations but will not compromise its sovereignty or accept what it considers unjust conditions imposed by its adversaries.

Pezeshkian also accused foreign powers of attempting to restrict Iran’s access to international borders and disrupt its trade relations with neighboring countries. He emphasized the importance of national unity, public cooperation and economic resilience in confronting the country’s growing challenges.

He further indicated that Iran’s Supreme Leader had authorized the government to pursue diplomatic solutions, suggesting that negotiations with Washington remain a possibility despite the ongoing confrontation.

The remarks highlight Tehran’s position of combining diplomatic engagement with resistance to military and economic pressure.

The big question remains: Can Washington and Tehran reach a diplomatic agreement, or is another military confrontation becoming increasingly likely?
