IS THE TEACHING SERVICE COMMISSION BEING SINCERE? ~ Banda Sakanya.

The Teaching Service Commission has disclosed that 1, 500 teachers had fake appointment letters which it claims come from KATONDO street.

Teaching Service Commission Secretary, Mr. Zachariah Luhanga disclosed this information after teachers staged a protest demanding pay for two years.

Mr. Luhanga said the fake appointment letters were being generated from KATONDO street in Lusaka.

Teaching Service Commission Secretary Mr. Lubanga is not being sincere and here is why;

  • Where was the TSC for over two years just to come out after teachers protested for non payment?
  • Why was the nation not informed of some teachers having fake appointment letters?
  • Mr. Luhanga mentioned that the protest was illegal because the same teachers that protested were engaged and got assured of getting their salaries. Why were these teachers engaged if the commission knew they had fake appointment letters?

& If these teachers have genuine results but have fake appointment letters, let them be put on the pay roll and pay them their salaries for the two years worked for.

Teaching Service Commission should shoulder the blame because it is the same commission that should have scrutinised the appointment letters before employing them.

Teaching Service Commission is playing a mind game so as to come out clean.

Let the teachers not suffer the sins committed by the Teaching Service Commission.
