Former Football Administrator Mwansa Mbulakulima has petitioned FAZ President Andrew Kamanga to step down from his position.

In a letter dated October 12th, 2021 addressed to Kamanga and obtained by ZNBC News, Mbulakulima has asked the FAZ president to relinquish his position following the poor performance of Men’s senior national football team.

Mbulakulima says Zambia’s failure to qualify to AFCON three times in a role and missing out on qualification for the 2018 and 2022 World cups should be blamed on the current administration.

  1. He even promised that he will resign if Zambia does not qualify WHY is he clinging to this position as if it is a personal to holder the man has Failed and the only honorable thing to do is GO

  2. Agreed Kamanga ought to move on. However, Zambian football will still remain substandard because of poor local league and few international players in top class leagues/clubs. The 1994 squads was strong and built on a competitive Local league with zccm sponsored clubs. Clubs like Nkana, power dynamos, used to reach final in Continental competitions. The 2012 Africa cup winners was 80% TP Mazembe players where Moise Katumbi ensured they played competitive football even teaching FIFA club championships. Our league is rug tag and only 3 players in in top flight clubs and are not always available. Fix the league and to fix the league clubs need to be financially viable not begging money from struggling companies. Napwisha mukwai

  3. And very fast Kamanga should see door way out. He has lamentebly failed and Zambians can not go on like this.

If he does not then Gvt should hold on to funding and let him use his money.
