KALABA DEMANDS USD 20 MILLION FOR DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER
Democratic Party President, Harry Kalaba has demanded $20 million as compensation for defamation of character from his former Vice President, Judith Kabemba and Justine Nkonge, the former National Treasurer.
The duo has been given 48 hours within which to pay, retract their defamatory statement, apologize and make an undertaking not to issue similar accusations again.
According to a demand letter seen by KBN TV from Kalaba’s lawyers, Charles Siamutwa Legal Practitioners, their client would seek legal redress if there is no response within 48 hours.
