Kambwili cruelty is hair raising

PF cadre Chishimba Kambwili’s garden boy and house helper Charles Kamutengo,Alias Shi Mpundu and his accomplice David Zimba were this morning released on bond after meeting their bond conditions.

The duo have been marooned at Lusaka prisons for nearly 8 months after Kambwili dragged them and others to court over missing $160,000 from his Kabulonga dwelling.
Kamutengo and Zumba are among other people who were arrested for the purpose of investigation.

After appearing in court,the duo who were granted bond however failed to meet the conditions as such remained detained until National Democratic Congress President Josephs Akafumba came to their aid.
Speaking to the press soon after his realese, Shimpundu thanked Akafumba for his humanitarian gesture.

Kamutengo has been working for Kambwili for more than 10 years.
His first assignment was at Kambwili’s Luanshya residence and was later moved to Lusaka when he served as Minister.
Problems started when Kamutengo and many other employees started going for months without pay while his children lived a lavish life.

Receiving him at court after his realese was Andrew Lupindula Akafumba’s aide-de-camp.

The matter is still in court.
