LETS NOT NORMALIZE BACKWARDNESS: 2026 HICHILEMA MUST GO!

Our country today is burdened with a government that does not listen to the cries of its people. While citizens have been enduring the worst load-shedding crisis in our nation’s history, Mr Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND have continued to export electricity.

Our homes have been left in total darkness. Businesses have been forced to close. Families are suffering untold misery, pain and hardship but this government prioritizes profit from export of power over the well-being of its own citizens.

This government wants our people to accept load-shedding as a new normal. They want our people to adjust their lives downward, and forced to live with a reality they have never known and experienced at this scale. They want people who have always lived with the pride and dignity of reliable access to power to suddenly embrace darkness and its crippling consequences.

In essence, Mr Hichilema and his team want us to normalize backwardness and excuse their reckless and irresponsible decisions over the power crisis.

What kind of leadership neglects its own people in their darkest hour? What kind of government ignores the suffering of millions to serve the interests of others? Is it sensible for neighboring countries to be enjoying the benefits of our labor and sacrifice whilst we stand aside and watch in admiration? Iyo tuletekwa zoona!

Enough is enough. Zambians deserve leaders who put the nation first. Come 2026, Hichilema and his backwardness (load-shedding) must go!

  1. Mr Membe sir, I know people who have moved to their own houses before zesco connection line and they are happy to be in their house even in darkness. I understand why right now malaiti kulube but I have no worries on so many things other than just zesco. I also understand that investment is been done to clear loadsheding issues for good. Permanent or long lasting solutions are not accomplished in 1 night. You are lucky sir coz you have soo many ignorant Zambians and they will listen to you even when you yourself you know the truth that loadsheding is just inevitable but you also know that it will end for good soon after a number of commissioning and next rain season. This you know very well but you just want to ride on the ignorant Zambians.

  2. Load shedding is not backwardness Sir. Nigeria has load-shedded for time immemorial. You cannot win an election because of load shedding. Talk of meaningful things. What if load shedding ends, then what? Backwardness has ended? Your hatred and desperation will not take you anywhere.

  3. Still using the same old tactics, Nawakwi played the same to push for time. And it so pained me that she died without a trial. She needed to explain herself how she engineered the Peluna story and wanted to see her get charged for it but I was disappointing that she died cos she shdnt have. We needed her alive for this case. But she played it this same way until she achieved her goal. So these ones that are still alive they need to be charged quickly pls ba Juduciary. Including bena Tasila/Esther Lungu , Makebi Zulu etc . Pls prosecute them now, before they commit suicide or run away like JJ Banda, Zulu etc

  4. Many people including GBM, CK, Lungu and Nawakwi said so many things about HH before 2021 general elections vowing that they were going to retire him from politics. Unfortunately, HH is the one who retired them. M’membe just know that it’s you who is going and not HH, he is going to retire you as he did to others. I saw your new Chopper when it flew in but all the people I have mentioned had them and failed to defeat HH. I can’t imagine Zambians abandoning HH then coming to you, it’s unthinkable, by far you can’t be Zambia’s option to HH, it will never happen. Backwardness is clinging to old and archaic ideologies like Socialism which you are clinging to. And load-shedding is not backwardness, it’s something resulting from natural forces beyond human control and usually it’s temporal. If we receive enough rains this coming season, load shedding will come to an end and if we completely stop power exports, ZESCO will collapse, therefore causing more harm than good.
