LIVINGSTONE RAPPER MURDERED…?
25-year-old Livingstone based Rapper, Samson Munyembe was found dead Sunday in his home in what police believe is a murder case.
Acting Southern Province Police Commanding Officer, Alfred Nawa tells Byta FM News that the victim’s neighbour reported that he rushed to the scene after hearing a gunshot and calls for help at around 20:00 hours.
Nawa says Munyeme of More Light compound was pronounced dead upond arrival at Mahatma Gandhi Clinic and sustained a deep cut to the head and wounds in his back and chest.
Nawa says police later went to the victim’s home for a scene visit, where they found a pool of blood and an empty cartridge suspected to be that of an AK47.
The Commissioner says Police Officers proceeded to search the area for the criminals, but says no arrests have been made.
Nawa says the remains of the deceased have since been deposited at Batoka Mortuary awaiting post mortem.- Byta FM
