MAN SHOOTS FELLOW FOR GOING OUT WITH 4TH WIFE, JAILED 15 YEARS

A 41 year old man of Nambole Village in Kazungula District has been jailed to 15 years imprisonment with hard labour for shooting a man on suspicion of going out with his fourth wife.
Byta Fm Court Beat Journalist reports that this is in a matter where Benson Loonde is charges with acts intended to cause harm contrary to Section 224 (a) of the Penal Code chapter 87 of the laws of Zambia.
Particulars of the offence are that on 29th April, 2021, Loonde jointly and whilst acting together with other persons unknown, did shoot Misheck Chanda on the arm.
Chanda told the court that on the fateful day, he had gone to buy maize from Arab Mudenda’s place and later in the night he heard a gunshot, and only realized a while after that he had been shot on the……..
