First wife of renowned Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, May Edochie, has discussed how she battled and overcame sadness after her husband married a second woman.
The mother of four, who has continued to get support from Nigerians, criticized those who said she was making money out of her situation.
The actor’s wife described how she overcame a severe depression in a video, emphasizing that instead of wallowing in it, she picked up the lovely world she once had and continued.

“I saw a few comments, some people saying May is using this to cash out…and I am like, it’s fine.
“I don’t wish this upon my enemies if at all i have any. Depression is real, and it’s in stages.
“Rather than dwell in depression I decided to pick up the beautiful world, a very beautiful world that I had and moved on. It’s not been easy….”
Yul, her husband, claims that he wed Judy Austin as his second wife because he could not let go of her after their bond grew while they appeared on film.
