Nathan just celebrated his birthday 11 days ago!
ELEVEN days ago, relatives, friends and fans flooded social media with messages of goodwill as Nathan Mbawa, a versatile and charismatic television presenter turned a year older.
However this morning, Zambians woke up to the shock and sorrowful news of Nathan’s death.
His uncle, Colonel Jeremiah Mbawa told Kalemba that although the family is yet to gather the full details of the mishap, Nathan died on the spot after an accident around Kabangwe area on the Great North Road at about 02:00 hours as he drove out of Lusaka.
“We are yet to get the details of the Nathan’s death from the police but what we know right now is that he died on the spot around Kabangwe around 2 AM last night as he was heading out of town,” Colonel Mbawa said.
He added that the funeral gathering is in Lusaka’s PHI.
Nathan was a media personality who hosted a number of game shows with Muvi, TV and recently Power TV.
He was also a music artiste, known for producing songs such as Bana Chimbusa and Koswe.
He also starred in some local sitcoms such as Flat Six produced by Muvi TV, where he played the character of Kutani.
Nathan was indeed a versatile figure who also spent his weekends lighting up the moments for newly weds and their guests as they celebrated their union through his master of ceremony skills.
