MWALITETA MOURNS MUYANGANA
……Charis was a great man who put Kafue on the map through his local tourism business

FORMER Kafue Member of Parliament Obvious Mwaliteta has described late, Charis Muyangana, Proprietor of Muyangana’s Waterfront as jovial and inspirational man who greatly contributed to the Tourism industry in Kafue.
Speaking in an interview with Kafue Times, Mwaliteta who was MP for Kafue between 2011 to 2016, said Muyangana will be remembered by the people of Kafue and Zambia as a whole, as a hardworking and jovial man who greatly contributed to the well being of the district by establishing Muyangana’s Waterfront which became the most preferred local tourism destination in Kafue.
“The people of Kafue will remember Mr Muyangana as a good man who greatly contributed to the development of Kafue. He created employment for local people through his waterfront which attracted people from all walks of life. My appeal to the family of Mr Muyangana is, if possible let funeral gathering be in Kafue so that the people of Kafue can mourn the gallant man” Mwaliteta said.
Mwaliteta added that Muyangana was always there for the community whenever called upon, and as such the people of Kafue will greatly miss him.
He has since wished the bereaved family God’s guidance and grace as they go through this trying moment.
