NKANA FINED K100,000 OVER POLITICAL CHANTS
The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Disciplinary Committee has fined Nkana FC K100,000 following political chants by a section of supporters during the club’s MTN Super League match against Makeni All Stars on October 10.
Nkana also received a five-match home ban, with the affected fixtures initially ordered to be played without spectators at a neutral venue at least 300 kilometres from Nkana Stadium.
However, implementation of the ban has been partially suspended, giving the club an opportunity to improve supporter conduct and introduce corrective measures for the remainder of the season.
