NO DISUNITY IN CHIPOLOPOLO
FOOTBALL Association of Zambia (FAZ) general secretary Reuben Kamanga says the national team is intact and not disturbed by the absence of senior players ahead of tomorrow’s Morocco 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Group G fixture against Chad.
Kamanga said in an interview yesterday that injuries to key players have provided an opportunity to other players to rise to the occasion.
He dispelled speculations from some fans who alleged that the absence of senior players is due to their unwillingness to play for the Chipolopolo.
“There is nothing like disunity in the team. Player selection is a discretion of the coach and he picks who works hard. It is unfortunate that we have so many injuries at the same time but this gives an opportunity for other players to work hard and represent the country,” Kamanga said.
