His Excellency President EDGAR LUNGU says PF members must not allow the PF party to die.
He said PF members should revive and take the party to greater heights in in honour of the late Sata who was the founder.
The head of State said the party should carry on late Sata’s leadership values and vision by making the PF stronger.
He said in his speech presented at late President MICHAEL SATA’S memorial service that the PF party was a mass movement for all Zambians and was not for sell to the highest bidder.
“No matter the circumstances, PF must live and arise,” he said.
He said there was no time for members of the PF to engage in petty squabbles.
“There are more lessons in defeat than in victory, ” he said amid jubilation among PF party members that attended the memorial service.
He said time had come for party members to introspect through asking tough questions.
He also announced that time had come for him to pave way for a new leader who would take the party to greater heights.
The president also advised the party members to pick a leader that would carry on his and late president Sata’s legacy.
“Very important. Very important,” he said amid laughter among the people that related the line to Hakainde Hichilema’s speeches.
“Very important yes,” he repeated.
