OPPOSITION AND INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES SHOULD WITHDRAW FROM KABUSHI AND KWACHA BY-ELECTIONS, ELECTIONS HAVE ALREADY BEEN RIGGED BY UPND – TAPALI ICHEENU

If the Thursday by-elections go on as scheduled, all the opposition and independent candidates must know there is nothing for them.
The by-elections have already been rigged by UPND, so the best they can do, is to simply withdraw to set the clock back to zero.
I know candidates are being threatened by ACC not to withdraw, but there is nothing wrong in withdrawing your candidature if you feel the elections are not free and fair.
IT IS NOT A CRIME, BUT A RIGHT TO FILE AN APPLICATION FOR ELECTION AND TO WITHDRAW IT IF YOU WANT. SO DON’T BE INTIMIDATED BY ACC.
I have also received information that High Court is under pressure to let the elections go on in spite of whatever arguments will be made today.
From what I have heard, I doubt High court will stop the elections on Thursday, therefore let the opposition and Independent candidates engage and agree on something, otherwise, these by-elections are a foregone conclusion.
