Oppostion Mathematic Chance to Win
The only way remaining is for UPND to fail to reach the 50+1% mark, and then go for the second round elections. This would force the opposition and their members to work together and rally behind one remaining candidate, giving them a chance.
Unity, which has been much talked about, will be forced because it will be a two-horse race. This can only happen if the opposition agrees on the same slogans and campaign message: “No UPND” or “Everything New” from the start.
If they can’t agree on a presidential candidate, they should at least agree on the message and campaign slogans, basically telling the people “Anything but UPND”. This create one powerful force. However, they still run as individuals since they cant agree. This is like the World Cup qualifiers – it’s a mathematical chance considering the time and lack of organisation.
The only problem with winning elections like that is it will mean a confused government that might not even be close to UPND. Are we ready for a confused government just to remove UPND?
No single opposition party will manage to beat UPND, all things being equal.These people doing almost 5 press conferences every day in Lusaka. The way things are moving with the opposition, they will probably have a few parties getting about 7%, and the rest even below regretted or spoiled ballots.
UPND, as well, to guarantee their win, need to finish the fight in the first round; second, it can fail to get up – oh, these things happen. And make sure you the former President Lungu is put to rest, this is very important – wish I could explain more but spiritually matters we leave to those who are spiritual.
And Democracy works way when there is competition; otherwise, we will create a god in HH. That’s dangerous for everyone – the Opposition, UPND, to even his friends and HH himself. We need competition so that even if HH wins, we get an improved HH who can deliver Business reforms and National Unity.

Easier said than done, do you think UPND will just be ndwii waiting for you? They also have their own plans. And there is no way UPND can fail to obtain 50+1 which it easily got whilst in opposition to defeat PF. This time when it’s enjoying incumbency, we are expecting 90+1, UPND is still the people’s choice and 90% plus is very much achievable.
Imagine a party still being presided over by a dead person. All manifesto’s refer to the wishes of a deadman. Mwe Lesa sho twafweni.

The truth of the matter is that, the he citizens have now come the realization that HH means well with his developmental agenda. Zambians are wise they have come to realize that that good and sustainable development does not come easily but through hard ways. And Zambians are hard working people except that people wanted to weaken them through tantamen and handouts. Today people are able to approve the saying, “Uwakwensho bushiku, bamutasha ilyo bwacha.” For sure Zambia is now on the right course. And great signs of great progress are there. In this regard don’t even dream of HH having less than 70% of the cast votes. And you current calculation is just another mathematical confusion
The right projection, probability, permutation, or combined expectation is that each of the presidential candidate in the opposition will help unknowingly to donate 90% of voters from his/her alliance to HH. Each alliance in the opposition in Zambia will unrealistically donate 90% of it’s voters to HH.For example, PF, the biggest opposition party, has already donated over 2 million possible voters to HH just by suspending a good number of mps, members of the central committee, selfishly and unjustly dropping several paid up presidential candidates and discarding the most popular presidential candidate, Mundubile. All the these discarded at almost the same time,have large followings and don’t think their followers will sympathize with you, instead they will teach you a big lesson by changing their minds and voting for HH.
HH is winning,with what I’d happening currently muli ba opposition, who in their right mind can vote for any of them sure?none!

Politics is funny at times.The motivation not to vote for the UPND may rest in the inner conscious of people, that pain not expressed publicly , but only to manifest on poling day. It’s not in the self praise of Hakainde and his Zealots, about Cash for work programs, Imita Ufole, Free Education or CDF.
It’s in the character of the Man and his government.
For me personally I have seen the type of Governance Hakainde has brought to Zambia…the abuse of State Institutions, the status of the arms of Government, and what he has done to our Multi Party Democratic System…the divisions in the country based on Tribe, a President who stalks Tribal divisions such that even Kindergarten children now talk about Tribe.
Talk of Religious divisions and the treatment of the Catholic Church..As a Catholic, Hakainde will be the last thing on my mind when I enter the polling booth.
I have seen the behavior of his Tribal Zealots in the last four years , the Insults others have endured at their hands , the it’s our time ideology…the erroneous belief that they won 2021 on their own, and the 1 Million will win them 2026.
I see the appointments in the Ministry of Education… Universities and Colleges, The Provincial Educational Offices , DEBs etc.
These are things under the radar and not seen by the general public. But Civil Servants are seeing and living this..There’s an unexpressed pain by the working people
who have understood what this government is all about.
And come what may, Hakainde and his Zealots are not forming government after 13th August,2026.
It’s in the people, and not in the confusion of the Patriotic Front.
And the people will have their in the Presidential and General Elections.
