PF ACCUSED OF FERRYING ELIGIBLE VOTERS
The ferrying of people by the PF to registration centers in Kasama to acquire voters’ cards has raised concern among some opposition political parties.
This is despite the recent directive by Republican Vice President, Inonge Wina to halt the trend.

A check by Diamond News at Kasama Municipal Council registration center found a PF branded vehicle ferrying people to register as voters.
Opposition UPND sympathizers Jairo Simbeye and Cephas Bwalya say the move is undemocratic.

They accuse the PF of ferrying people to registration centers from day one.
Meanwhile, Kasama District Electoral Officer Zakeyo Mbao says there has been a tremendous improvement in terms of efficiency regarding the voter registration process.
He says the third phase of the voter registration exercise has also seen a rise in the number of people registering.
