PF PASSED LAW ALLOWING AG TO ENGAGE PRIVATE AUDITORS ON PUBLIC AUDITS IN 2016.

The opposition PF in 2016 enacted the law that allows the Auditor General to engage private auditing firms to carry out forensic audits in public institutions, a Zambian citizen, Alex Ntoka has recalled.

Commenting on yesterday’s expose by Zambia United that the PF, led by Fred M’membe and Wynter Kabimba, have embarked on a fundraising campaign to block the auditing of the Zambia Army using Chilufya Tayali as a proxy, Ntoka urged people to read section 10 of the Public Audit Act of 2016.

“Macmillan Overcomer Hangoma Since u don’t know what section 10 of the public audit act says, I will cite it for u. It simply says, where the auditor general is unable to do the audit on a public institution, the auditor general may subcontract a private institution to help it with the audit while the auditor general offers the supervisory services to the private institution,” Ntoka responded to one of the people who was backing.
