PLEASE TAKE AWAY THE CAMERAS FROM HH

…he is “recklessly” talking too much, Nakacinda

LUSAKA, Tuesday, November 9, 2021 (SMART EAGLES)

I want to advise the people that are managing President Hakainde Hichilema, please can you take away the microphone and take away the camera from him, Hon. Raphael Nakacinda says.

The opposition Patriotic Front (PF) Member of the Central Committee in Charge of Information and Publicity said when he featured on Hot FM’s “Hot Seat” Program that the Head of State is talking too much and in the end he is entangling himself.

The MCC added that he now appreacites the wisdom of PF president Edgar Lungu who rarely made media appearances when he was Head of State.

Hon Nakacinda said this following Bally’s “clique of thieves” remarks that have attracted different interpretations from members of the public.

“President Hakainde Hichilema is not managing to unite this country. He is talking too much and in the end he is entangling himself. I want to advise the people that are managing President Hichilema, please can you take away the microphone and take away the camera,” he said.

“I think now I appreciate the wisdom of president Edgar Lungu. Maybe had he been exposed to the media he would have made blunders equally, possibly. Because if this is what it means to have a President who is talking then I don’t want my elder brother Hakainde Hichilema to be speaking. Because I think he is becoming a laughing stock, more or less and we don’t want that.”

Hon Nakacinda advised that the Head of State shouldn’t be reckless and carry “an I don’t care attitude.”

He said the President needs to be guided on how he ought to handle the media.
