POLICE ADVISED NOT TO PLAY TO THE GALLERY BY FOCUSING ON ARRESTING MASTERMINDS OF GASSING INCIDENTS

Human Rights Activist Brebnar Changala is urging the police not to play to the gallery by focusing on arresting the masterminds of the gassing episodes that traumatized the country in 2020.
Inspector General Police Lemmy Kajoba has disclosed that police have made serious strides in investigating individuals that were behind the gassing saga and will in the next few days summon individuals to help with investigations.
Reacting to this statement, Mr. Changala says it is disappointing that while the police are failing to bring certain investigations such as that of the abducted Mobile Money Agent Pamela Chisumpa’s matter to a conclusion despite the issue being of public interest, they are concentrating on politically motivated matters.
In an interview with Phoenix News, Mr. Changala has since advised the police to apply the same energy when pursuing all these other pending investigations to avoid being seen as champions of political battles.
