By Darius Choonya

Over seven thousand (7000) teachers have had their finger prints cleared by the Zambia Police Service as part of the administrative requirement before reporting for work.

In an interview with Diamond News, Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga says the process is still ongoing and the service will ensure that everyone recruited is screened.

Mr. Hamoonga has however warned those with a criminal record that they will be caught should they attempt to have their fingers screened.

Recently, government recruited thirty thousand four hundred and ninety six (30,496) teachers who are expected to report for duty as schools open for the third term.
