POSTPONEMENT OF SCHEDULED INTERVIEW WITH PROFESSOR NKANDU LUO

LUSAKA – July 1, 2025 – The Zambia Police Service wishes to confirm that Professor Nkandu Luo was scheduled to attend an interview with the Police on June 30, 2025. This arrangement was made last week in consultation with her legal representatives.

The planned interview relates to a matter that is currently under police investigation.

However, the interview did not take place as Professor Luo experienced a bereavement in her family. In light of this development, the Police, in consultation with her legal representatives, resolved to postpone the interview to allow her time to attend to the family matter.

We wish to make it clear that at no point did the Police demand any documentation from her to prove that she had a sick daughter.

A new date for the interview will be arranged in due course.

  1. Ms Luo humble yourself. The outbursts you make give the sense that you think you are above thel law. You have been in public service way too long to behave the way you did. That sense of entitlement is wrong. Its being arrongant mayo. Be humble.
You met the Police and explained your point of view. So were your utterances necessary? Were the statements issued by Nakachinda necessary? The state is not aware of what is going on in your personal life. You can not blame them. Their duty is to enforce the law.
If you want them to be accomodating, they will but be civil in the manner you are approaching them. Dont stirr the honest’s nest. If show respect you will get respect. There was nothing disrespectful about their call out. They are following up a matter alluded to in the press. Nothing insensitive about that when they were unaware of your family situation. We expect better from you an enlighted person, the outbursts are vert unfortunate.

  2. Just lock this cow and throw her in jail.
BTW what reason is she being called a professor for.
When she was in PF she believed that she was the law. Time for jail to meet your sister charity Katanga
