Pres. Hichilema Continues Interacting With High Level Delegations From Western Countries

We were greatly honoured to meet Ms Samantha Power, the Administrator of United States Agency For International Development (USAID) today at State House. We acknowledged the long standing bilateral relations between Zambia and the United States of America and expressed our commitment towards further strengthening the relations between the two countries.
We thanked them for the support the USAID had rendered to Zambia and expressed our gratitude on their spirited efforts to combat hunger and poverty in our communities and their plans to increase the USAID support to our government towards Food Security and Agriculture.
We applauded the Biden Administration’s commitment on combating climate change and emphasised our Government’s desire to change Zambia’s trajectory to one that supports environmental sustainability and low carbon development while promoting social inclusion.
Zambia is getting better.
