PRESIDENT HICHILEMA HAS MESSED UP, BUT WE ARE NOT SAYING PRESIDENT LUNGU SHOULD COME BACK, EVEN HIMSELF (ECL) DOESN’T WANT TO

Don’t get it twisted, when we say President Hichilema has failed, we are not in anyway suggesting that President Lungu should come back, he has done is part and it’s over for him.

What is actually good about this issue is that, President Lungu, himself, has repeatedly vowed not to come back.

I have reliable information that President Lungu has severally told the senior PF leadership that he wants the PF convention to take place so that he can finally handover Presidency to another person.

There are some people who are peddling lies that, I am highly critical of President Hichilema because I am campaigning for President Lungu to come back.

YOU ARE VERY WRONG – I am only speaking for people.

Others have also said that the PF convention is being delayed because President Lungu does not want to handover PF leadership to another person.

YOU ARE DEAD WRONG – President Lungu wants the convention to take place, but the party has financial and structural challenges to hold a convention this month.

As you may have noted in the recent past, a number of PF members have left PF and their structures are shaken, so they may have to do a role-call of the electoral college before going into the convention even if they get the money.

As afar as Economic and Equity Party (EEP) under my leadership is concerned, we are open to working with other opposition political parties, especially PF, DP, Socialist, PeP, GPZ, NDC, RP, EFF, Heritage, to mention but a few, in offering checks and balances to the ruling party UPND.
