President Hichilema Urged to Abandon Cyber Crimes Bill that is Before Parliament
Zambian Priest, Fr. Don Oscar based in Italy has advised President Hichilema to abandon his plans tabled in Parliament to clamp down on social-media through the proposed amendments to the Cyber Crimes Bill No.30 of 2024.
He says this is a government that pledged to repeal the law but has instead chosen to make it more draconian and more repressive.
Fr Oscar is based at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, which is part of Saint Francis Parish, Tolentino, Macerato Diocese.
