PRESIDENT OF BOTSWANA SAYS ONY DNA TEST CAN FREE ‘A FATHER’
Pesident of Botswana Duma Gideon Boko has weighed in on the proposal for compulsory DNA testing raised in the House of Chiefs of Botswana.
Speaking at the ongoing High-Level Workshop on the Review of Children’s Legislation, President Boko said men should assume fatherhood and its responsibilities when a woman identifies them as the father.
President Boko emphasized that every child must be cared for, adding that only a DNA test proving otherwise can relieve a man of that responsibility.
