PROMINENT MAZABUKA BUSINESSMAN ASHRAF LIMBADA ROBBED OF OVER K100,000
Unknown muggers have robbed Mazabuka’s prominent businessman, Ashraf Limbada, aged 52, of cash and property worth over K100,000.
The robbers reportedly took a bag from Limbada’s vehicle containing K47,000, an HP laptop i3 valued at K16,200, and other important documents.
The incident occurred on Thursday around 17:15 hours at Limbada Store in Mazabuka Town Center, where he was selling mealie meal.
Confirming the development, Southern Province Commissioner of Police, Auxensio Daka, noted that the stolen bag was left on the rear left passenger seat, with the suspect gaining entry through the door.
Daka explained that one of the suspects had jumped out of a silver Toyota Runex which was parked close to Limbada’s vehicle.
As soon as he grabbed the bag, he returned to the getaway vehicle and sped off.
The police have yet to make an arrest.
