PUTIN CHALLENGES THE WEST: “WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?”
Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued a sharp rebuke of what he described as the West’s increasingly demanding rhetoric toward Russia.
«“Who do you think you are? All we ever hear is: ‘You must… You have to… We’re warning you…’ Who even are you?”»
Putin’s remarks reflect Moscow’s broader criticism of Western governments, which the Kremlin says have increasingly sought to dictate terms to Russia while issuing warnings and demands over the war in Ukraine and wider security issues.
The comments come amid continued tensions between Russia and Western countries over the conflict, military support for Ukraine, sanctions and European security.
