PUTIN SENDS MESSAGE TO GERMANY: “WE DO NOT WANT TO ATTACK YOU”
Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly addressed concerns about a possible Russian attack on Germany, saying Moscow has no intention of attacking or invading the country.
In remarks attributed to Putin, he questioned why Russia would want to attack Germany, arguing that such thinking belongs to a bygone era.
«“We do not want to attack you. Why would we do that? That era is over. Anyone who can think rationally will understand this.”»
The message also highlights several factors presented as reasons why Russia would have little economic incentive to occupy Germany, including:

8️⃣ Natural resources Germany does not possess the vast energy and mineral reserves that could make territorial occupation particularly attractive from an economic perspective.
The message concludes with a rhetorical question:
«“So why would we invade your country? To deal with problems that are not ours?”»
It further claims:
«“Even if you called us, surrendered and raised the white flag… we would not come.”»
