In October,2019 l hosted Deputy Police Spokesperson Mr Rea Hamoonga on Pan African Radio’s Legal Affairs Programme.
In that interview,he confirmed with me that Police get instructions from State House.
The following day,the story was published by News Diggers. This story did not seat well with PF.
While at school,l received a phone call from PF Secretary General Hon. Davies Mwila demanding for the recording of the interview. As a student of Law l denied giving him the recording.
I later called Mr Hamoonga how is doing and if he has seen the story in Diggers. He told,”yes have seen it”. Sir how are you? Did l put your job at risk Sir? I asked. He answered me,”Don’t worry things will be okay, just be safe young man”.
Two days later,l received
several phones calls demanding for the said recording or else they will deal with me.
I quickly, rushed to the station and deleted the the recording without the station Manager knowing and kept the other copy in the flash.
The next thing l received was a message saying,”keep the recording you idiot,Rea Hamoonga will no longer be Spokesperson”.
We continued talking with Mr Hamoonga and became friends.
Like the bible says in Genesis 50:20,
” You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives”.
Congratulations Mr Rea Hamoonga Police Spokesperson
