Late fourth Republican President Rupiah Banda to be buried on the 18th of March 2022 at the presidential burial site.
President Hakainde Hichilema has since declared a 7 days of national mourning beginning 12th March 2022 in honour of Mr. Banda.
A state funeral will be held on the 17th of March 2022 at the Lusaka show grounds.
This is where foreign diginitries will also be accorded an opportunity to pay their last respects to the departed former head of state
