REJECT POOR STATUS FROM WORLD BANK!
Zambia should not take seriously the pronouncements by the world Bank of being a poor country because the rationale behind such pronouncements is merely for them to take total control of our economy just like they did under the MMD when we saw most of our strategic companies which were state-owned being privatized and eventually Zambia lost a lot of industrial power and control.
The world Bank would want to use such strategies to qualify Zambia for IMf deal.
We have to keep our eyes open enough from economic manipulations by the international bodies otherwise, we might think that this is something we can use to blame one another what realising that actually some international bodies wants to make business capital on our country.
Zambians should by all means think critically at this level otherwise we shall find ourselves in the same path we went through in 1993…..
Our minister of finance need to be encouraged to make sure that he stand for Zambia and not to allow himself to be manipulated by the foreigners with vested interest in our economy.
We are being taken backwards and those who are old enough or who have had critical mind over national issues will agree with me that this pronouncements was used by MMD under FTJ to get support from the international bodies like IMF and world bank .
This pronouncements is largely for their benefits and not our benefits. They will use this to control our economy and this time around we shall lose more than we lost under MMD then . Let’s be careful.
