Sean Tembo 0s in on firing of Luapula DPS

FACEBOOK politician Sean Tembo is upset that the just fired Luapula Province deputy permanent secretary Roy Mwansa was even arrested.

Tembo, who owns the Patriots for Economic Progress (PeP), says it is double standards, on the part of President Hakainde Hichilema, to have Mwansa arrested and later fired from his government job.

Tembo draws a comparison of Henry Mwalye Imbuwa, who President Hichilema fired, shortly after his appointment, in December 2021.

Inbuwa was accused of dishonestly signing for the release of K2 million.

Tembo, in his usual Facebook venting, has exclaimed that the firing of Mwansa today is: “double standards.”

“Former Western Province deputy permanent secretary Mr Mwalye Imbuwa was never arrested or prosecuted for dishonestly releasing a payment of K2 million in December 2021. He was only fired,” Tembo writes.

“And yet Luapula Province deputy permanent secretary Mr Roy Mwansa has been arrested, in addition to being fired for allegedly facilitating a police escort of a tipper truck carrying sugalite [sic].”

He apparently refers to President Hichilema as a mambala (crook) who is: “trying to portray people from some regions as being more corrupt than those from other regions.”

“He is dividing the nation,” wrote Tembo.
