PEP SUSPENDS PAGE ADMINS FOR UNETHICAL POSTS
Good morning ladies and gentlemen.
It has come to my attention that some of the administrators of this page made posts which are offensive and not in line with PeP guidelines for social media interaction. I have since instructed that 3 posts made over the weekend be deleted and l have further suspended two page administrators for a period of 30 days.
It is worth noting that PeP has specific guidelines in terms of what content can be posted, the intervals for posting, who should post, when to post etcetera. However, sometimes these guidelines are not followed by our Media Team. In order to differentiate between what l post and what my Media Team posts, all my posts are signed off with the date and the initials “SET”.
I further wish to take this opportunity to appeal to everyone who interacts on this page to use civil language so that the quality of debates can be beneficial to the wider citizenry. There is no value in insulting one another. Let us build this country together.
