STATE HOUSE AIDE TESTIFIES IN DEFAMATION OF THE PRESIDENT

President Hakainde Hichilema’s senior Private Secretary Alfred Chipoya says the head of state never met any judges or judiciary officers between the first week of December and the 22nd of the same month last year.

According to Mr. Chipoya, the President never had an appointment from any Magistrate, Judge or Judiciary officer as purported by Patriotic Front’s (PF) Raphael Nakacinda.

Mr. Chipoya who manages the daily schedule of the presidential office testified in a matter in which Mr. Nakacinda who is a Member of the Central Committee in charge of information and publicity is charged with defamation of the President.

If found guilty and convicted, he risks serving a maximum jail term of three years.
