THE CASE OF EZRA TEMBO: MPUNDU LAMENTS BETRAYAL FOLLOWING NRPUP FALLOUT

Hon. Binwell Mpundu has expressed deep disappointment over what he described as betrayal within the political circles surrounding NRPUP, saying the experience had been particularly painful because of the personal sacrifices made to help the party and its candidates succeed.

Mpundu said NRPUP had been given significant support and a platform to grow within a short period, despite initially having little political influence. He recalled sacrifices made to support Ezra Tembo, including convincing Christopher Kangombe Junior to step aside and backing Tembo’s campaign.

He said the latest developments had left him questioning how individuals could turn against those who had supported them when they had little, describing the situation as more painful than previous political betrayals he had witnessed.

However, Mpundu said he would not regret the sacrifices made, insisting that “time settles all matters.”

He concluded by wishing Ezra Tembo and others well, saying, “Lesa amipale; you should never lack in your lives and you should live forever.”

BETRAYAL IS PAINFUL-LET ME VENT

Dealing with a betrayer is worse than dealing with a murderer because you can not prepare yourself as to when they will strike,for they become a part of your existance and therefore no one is prepared for them..Throughout the night i have tried to digest just how a person can betray people that have picked him from literally the dead,clothed him,given him a status now as MP and you stab them to death????.

Lets face it,NRPUP was nothing and was never gonna be anything like many parties that are registered and dies like that without ever making any impact.Think of it,we have Political Parties headed by big politicians(heavyweights)that have failed to tick for years but NRPUP within three months was brought onto the scene and made it to the top including winning the general elections until ba Zyele and ba Mwangala Zalamis decided to do the unthinkable, all because of the Mundubile Makebi factor, but today Ezra Tembo decided to throw Ba Mundubile and all of us under the bus despite all sacrifices we made including resting our valuable young man Christopher Kangombe who had already done the ground work under #ichabaice in Dag constituency.

Anyways like i keep saying,TIME SETTLES ALL MATTERS..it looks like Zambian politics is all about betrayal to survive.I thought the Chabinga,Miles Sampa betrayal on the PF was worse but this is more painful because it has hit me more direct.Unlike the PF betrayal that happened when i had left PF,on this one,I made too many personal sacrifices including putting aside my own personal political pursuits through #ICHABAICE (something i invested in for years) and we put in our very best and we lost alot in trying to help the Nyali ticket win,offcourse our efforts paid off which is why i can never beat myself,but this level of betrayal is just too much to process.

As a human being one needs to take a moment and reflect,asking oneself the most important question,without those,would i have made it to this point and if not,why would i then stab the very people that brought me this far.

I remember personally looking for money no matter how little he may now think it was to support EZRA,and i remember how painful it was to convince Christopher Kangombe Junior with all the ground work he had done to step aside for EZRA and to support him in his campaigns only to get this level of betrayal.OK CHANKALIPA…..💔💔
