The weight of mum’s absence is so heavy – Chipo Mwanawasa
She writes:
Today marks 60 days since I lost my dear mum, Maureen Mwanawasa. My mother was an extraordinary woman whose love and strength left a profound impact on everyone she met.
Together with my father, Levy Patrick Mwanawasa, they held close to them very strong values and ideals that today continue to shape my character. It’s been incredibly difficult to share anything since my mother’s passing, as I am still coming to terms with this reality.
The weight of her absence is heavy, and I struggle to find the words.
Nevetheless, I am committed to honoring my mother and father’s legacies, ensuring that the love and lessons they imparted live on.
