THEFT OF ZESCO RESOURCES FOR TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRICITY IS TREASONABLE.
This should be looked in a broader perspective to arrest Zesco management who have bought substandard equipment at exorbitant cost, pocketing huge sums of money. This is sabotage to the Economy of this Country as the Country is suffering as a result of mediocre services from Zesco brought about by mismanagement of the National asset.
What of our sick patients dying in hospitals as a result of erratic electricity supply. What of loss of production. What of the inconvenience our people are experiencing as a result of the mismanagement of Zesco by the Clique. Sorry let us line up these Zesco management at the Court charged with treason.
It should not only apply to the small thieves stealing from transmission and distribution equipment. Even these criminals who have stolen monies meant for improvement of the said equipment should be charged with treason. What excuse can there be for equipment failure at Kafue when the Government just spent huge sums of money bringing it on the grid?
Something is smelling. Heads have to roll. Yes we need a board to fire him. But we can start by him appearing in Court to answer charges against the people
