TRUMP BLASTS OBAMA FOR CALLING WHITE HOUSE UPGRADES A SADDAM HUSSEIN CHEESECAKE FACTORY
Barack Obama is out on the campaign trail days before the midterms and this is the attack he went with. He slammed President Trump’s White House upgrades as a “Saddam Hussein Cheesecake Factory.” Benny Johnson put the question to Trump and the answer was pure Trump.
“He doesn’t understand quality. He doesn’t understand cleanliness,” Trump said. “It’s more beautiful than it was in 1792 when it was built. He should have done something because he left it a mess.”
Trump did not stop there. When asked about Obama’s presidential library he kept it short and direct. “It’s not the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” Trump said. “Not a fan of his architectural taste.”
Obama spent eight years in the White House and left it looking like it had been ignored. Trump spent the time and the money to restore it to a higher standard than the original builders achieved in 1792. Obama’s response is to mock the work instead of acknowledging the difference. The same man who is campaigning right now decided the best use of his time was to attack the appearance of the building he once occupied. Trump answered with the facts. The White House looks better under his watch than it did under Obama’s. That is the entire conversation.
