TRUMP PUSHES UKRAINE TOWARD TERRITORIAL CONCESSIONS
U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that Ukraine may need to give up territory currently controlled by Russia as part of a potential peace agreement.
Trump has also reportedly made clear that Ukraine would not be admitted to NATO and that continued U.S. weapons support could be curtailed if Kyiv chooses to keep fighting rather than pursue a settlement.
The reported position places Zelensky and Ukraine under intense pressure after years of war, massive destruction and significant territorial losses.
For Kyiv, the choice is increasingly difficult: accept painful territorial concessions in pursuit of a ceasefire, or risk a prolonged conflict with uncertain Western military support.
“The comedian was sent into a war—and now Ukraine is paying the price, with parts of the country devastated and other parts under Russian control.”
