Trump Rules Out Nuclear Strike on Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump has firmly ruled out the possibility of a nuclear strike against Iran, dismissing a question about the option in the Oval Office as “stupid.”

When asked whether the United States could resort to nuclear weapons amid its ongoing confrontation with Tehran, Trump made clear that such an option was not under consideration.

The U.S. president also claimed that conventional military operations against Iran had already significantly weakened Tehran’s military capabilities and air defenses. According to Trump, American strikes have destroyed or neutralized a substantial portion of Iran’s military infrastructure and defensive assets.

The remarks come as tensions between Washington and Tehran remain extremely high, with Iran’s nuclear program continuing to be a central issue in the escalating confrontation between the two countries.
