U-20 coach considers Mbesuma’s son for AfCON

Former national team striker Collins Mbesuma’s son Lineker is among foreign- based players that under-20 national team coach Chisi Mbewe is considering for the 2023 Egypt Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

Mbewe said in an interview after a morning training session at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka yesterday that Lineker has been doing well in South Africa.

The 15-year-old Lineker, who is also a striker, is currently playing academy football in South Africa with Warriors Football Club.
