Uganda’s Teacher Mpamire coming for Mutale Mwanza
UGANDA’S popular comedian Teacher Mpamire is currently stuffing his travelling bags with brightly-coloured suits and comic material for a confirmed trip to Zambia.
Although the East African funny man is scheduled to perform in Lusaka on December 2, part of his motivation for the trip is to meet salacious socialite Mutale Mwanza in person.
What is even more interesting is that Mutale Mwanza has said ‘YES’ as she also would love to host the ‘teacher’ at her home not for breakfast or lunch but the evening meal, dinner.
With his signature crazily bright checked suit, one would not wait to see how the pair would look with the top-notch fashion-star.
The comedy extravaganza set for the prestigious Kenneth Kaunda Wing of Mulungushi International Conference Centre (MICC) also has an interesting line-up of highly talented local comedians who have equally promised a good dosage of laughter.
Show host Cheelo Mwanachingwala says the Ugandan comedians have proved to be huge crowd pullers such that he has decided to use a 2,500 capacity hall to accommodate as many fans as possible.
“Last time when we brought another Ugandan act Anne Kansime, we had to turn back a huge number of people as the hall was filled to capacity,” he says.
This is likely to be the best festive gift for the comedy lovers and a light way of ending the year 2022 with Teacher Mpamire as the headlining act.
